Junior Electrical Engineer Key Responsibilities:
General electrical design activities for the DC and AC installation of solar farms and energy storage projects
SLD preparation, cable sizing calculations, earthing layouts, cable management solutions, etc.
Ensure engineering designs are completed to planned timescales
Reading design specifications and technical drawings
Evaluating technical specifications in the tender documentation packages and reviewing risks and implications of the requirements
Providing engineering and technical expertise and guidance in identifying, analysing and resolving project challenges
Attend project progress meetings with engineering management
Manage relationships and work with Technical Advisor on development sites but also ad hoc requirements
Support of sales and purchasing with technical descriptions and datasheet validation, generation of BOM
Support of the construction department in the implementation, in the project realization phase
Close exchange with colleagues in layout design, purchasing, project development, project management and the subsidiaries
Preparation of as-built calculations and drawings package
Technical documentation after completion of a project
Interact with the Sales team and the rest of the engineering disciplines to integrate specifications into the design concept
Support the company’s goals and represent the company positively and professionally
Adhere to all Company policies/procedures and business ethics codes including the anti-bribery policy and QHSE policy.
Skills required for a Junior Electrical Engineer:
♦ Enthusiasm towards decarbonisation and renewable energy
♦ HNC/HND or equivalent minimum; BSc, BEng or equivalent desired
♦ Experience within renewables industry, energy storage either in consultancy, DNO, ICP, renewable energy developer, or alternatively another engineering environment
♦ Knowledge and understanding of international and UK electrical standards
♦ Knowledge of electrical design software (eplan or similar)
♦ Knowledge of AutoCAD (desirable)
♦ Knowledge of simulation software including PVSyst (desirable)
♦ Experience in Solar PV Design (desirable)
♦ Familiarity with the interactions between developer, EPC and TA in utility-scale PV project development
♦ Knowledge of PV industry modelling and simulating assumptions
♦ Knowledge of Energy Storage Systems (desirable)
♦ Ideally experienced in working across multiple jurisdictions and time zones including some travel
♦ Innovative spirit
♦ Ability to deal with ambiguity and problem solving
♦ Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across different levels in and out of the organization
♦ Excellent communication and presentation skills
♦ Structured and well-organized method of work
♦ Clean Driving license

Job No 2 ( Social Worker )
We are looking for aspirational social workers who can work with children in our care, their families and carers to achieve the best possible outcomes.
The service works with children and young people aged 0 – 18 who are looked after, living with foster carers or with family and friend carers, or in a children’s home.
We Care Plan with children, their carers and family to ensure the child’s needs are met well and we plan for their future. The views of the child and their family are imbedded within our Care Plans and lead everything we do.
Relationships with children and their families are very important to us as is our relationships with the multi agency teams we work within.
We take a trauma informed approach seeking to help the child recover and maintain relationships with important people in their lives.
We work under a Signs of Safety Framework which takes a strength bases approach and works towards the child and families goals.

♣ With the ability to build and maintain trusting relationship, you will build effective relationships with children, young people, and families.
♣ You will ensure that children and young people lead their Care Planning. You will advocate and appreciate individual need to achieve outcomes based on evidence-based assessments.

♣ Working with the child you will complete and update assessments and review the children and young people’s care plan.
♣ You will spend quality time with children in our care, understanding their views, their life events and supporting them to understand and recover from what has happened.
♣ You will be part of a Children Looked After Service where we are constantly seeking to improve outcomes for children in our care and be part of developing this service further.
